ROBICHAUD Branches
Our first ancestor in Acadie, Etienne Robichaud and his wife Françoise Boudreau of Port-Royal had six children, four sons. Three sons leave offsprings. All Robichaud in America are attached to one of the three branches of our family tree:
1. The Cadets (descendants of Charles Robichaud said Cadet, and one of his two wives : Marie Thibodeau - marriage around 1686 and Marie Bourg - marriage around 1703. )
2. The Prudent (descendants of Prudent Robichaud and his wife Henriette Petitpas - marriage around 1691.)
3. The Niganne (descendants of François Robichaud said Niganne, and his wife Madeleine Theriot - marriage around 1702.)
